Creating Opportunities
An opportunity is a sale or pending deal a business wants to track. In SharpSpring, opportunities can be created from contacts in the Contact Manager. The Sales tab shows won opportunities with their values and time to close, and also provides views of open and lost deals, plus options to export reports.
Custom Pipelines & Stages
Pipeline stages represent the steps used to track the progress of an opportunity from the start to the end of the sales cycle.
These stages are fully customisable. Businesses can define the number, order, names, default probabilities and descriptions of each stage to suit their specific sales process.
Visual Pipelines
In SharpSpring, the Pipeline feature tracks sales opportunities from start to finish. It offers a visual layout of each deal stage, with opportunities shown as cards that can be easily moved through the sales process. As opportunities progress, values and close probabilities update automatically, giving a clear overview of sales activity and performance.
Reporting
The Reports feature in SharpSpring provides a detailed overview of opportunities within a selected timeframe. Reports can be filtered by pipeline, sales rep, product, campaign or tag, and show key data like values, conversion rates and lost sales.
Users can generate seven report types: Conversion Analysis, Pipeline Value, Opportunity Health, Sales Performance, Won/Lost, Activity and Follow-up. Each report helps assess individual or team performance and can be exported for further analysis.
Accounts
The Accounts feature helps businesses stay organised by linking employees, opportunities and notes under each company. It shows all sales accounts, their associated contacts and opportunities, along with who added them and when. Accounts can be exported, and the system can suggest grouping contacts with the same email domain to keep company records complete.
